Meet the team

Lyndal McGuire – Principal Podiatrist

Lyndal graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Podiatry in 1994 and completed a Graduate Diploma in Podiatry, majoring in diabetology in 1997.  Lyndal has worked in both community health setting and private practice in Geelong, metropolitan Melbourne, and regional Victoria.

Lyndal has been practicing from podiatry@belmont for 27 years.  Lyndal has vast knowledge and experience in all aspects of podiatry and has a special interest in children’s feet and nail pathology and surgery.  Lyndal is available for consultation Tuesday to Friday.

Karen Rhodes

Karen has over thirty years of experience working as a Podiatrist in both public and private podiatry practice in South Australia and Victoria. She has extensive knowledge of all aspects of podiatry, including diabetes, the high-risk foot and biomechanics. Karen’s scope of practice includes the provision of domiciliary services for podiatry@belmont existing clients.

Karen has additional qualifications in Diabetes Education and is an NDIS accredited provider.

Karen is available for consultation on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Amelia Ling

Amelia graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Podiatry with Honours in 2005.

Amelia has 19 years experience working in the Geelong Region in private podiatry, during this time she has worked in biomechanics and orthotic therapy, nail pathology and surgery, paediatric care, diabetes and wound care and all aspects of general podiatry care.

Whilst working she has completed a Bachelor of Health and Medical Science with Honours in 2017 including a research project “Prevalence of chronic disease risk factors in medical students”.

Amelia is available for consultation on Mondays and Tuesdays

Dean Remyn

Dean graduated from Latrobe University in 1993. He has over 30 years experience in private practice, hospital and community health settings in the Geelong and Southwest Victoria region.

Dean enjoys all aspects of podiatry and has special interests in dry needling, heel pain and plantar fasciitis treatment and management, lower limb injury rehabilitation and wound management, care and prevention.

Dean is available for consultation on Mondays and Thursdays.
